If you love Christmas decor crafting, you may already be busy with creating beautiful things to give sparkle to your home. I love holiday decor. The warm lights and colors all seem to bring joy to the room.
In this blogpost, I have pulled together some inspiration to get you in the spirit of the holidays. It is November. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed making these items for my home or as gifts.
Plaques
This plaque is a great gift and so pretty around the house! I used scrape wood, the Cricut, hot glue and glitter. Here are the details on how to make one yourself!
christmas ornaments from tile
This ceramic tile is the perfect shape (and super affordable) for a Christmas ornament! Cricut came to the rescue again and these just make me smile! I made so many of these for our annual “Christmas Craft lunch” for the ladies in the family! Take a peek at the “how-to“. That cute ribbon was an estate sale find!
a baker’s friend
These rolling pins were also an estate sale find. And, we got them for a steal! I have one of these hanging with some frames holiday puzzles. My sister has one hanging from her kitchen cabinet above the stove. I will say this was a lot of detailed painting and I just love how they turned out! A really special addition to my home decor and a great gift for the bakers in my life!
jumbo sized holiday scrabble letters
If you are new to building, these trays are a great find build. Simple cuts, assembled with wood glue and a nailer! This was before I got a Cricut and it cost a small fortune to get the letters printed. (This was the craft for the first Christmas Craft Luncheon.) Since then, we have used the red trays for Valentine’s Day words as well!
large holiday canvas
If you have a lot of wall space, a large canvas is a great way to fill the space. I made the frame (another simple build) and stretched fabric around the frame and secured with staples. A little white paint and presto! Wall art.
be merry and bright holiday sign
This piece of wood was a Goodwill find! And, what a steal! I had fun painting the letters and hanging it up! Here are some details.
