Summer is in full swing and that means lots of outdoor entertaining! Every year, it seems like the Fourth of July comes so quickly and I am scrambling to find or make something cute for outdoor entertaining. Last year, I had fun with estate sale and curbside finds and turning them into Fourth of July decor. Check these out for some inspo!
Beverage Station
I found this wash tub at an estate sale for $10 and had no idea what I was going to do with it. This was during the phase when I was experimenting with “blue” paint and this tub was the first, low-risk project. I used Rustoleum blue metallic and copper paints. Super simple and I was able to fashion the tub into a beverage container. (This would also be super cute as a planter!)
Garden Sign
This sign was made from a piece of fencing I found while walking the dogs. (I have seen these made from pallets as well.) I power washed it first and then just painted the boards to look like a flag. The star is from Meijer! This was a gift for my cousin, Carrie and looks great in her front garden.
Hope these ideas give you some inspiration as we head into the Summer!
