Tomato Aspic
Ingredients
- 1 envelope Knox unflavored Gelatine
- 1 3/4 C Tomato juice, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon Tabasco (Aunt Lois used 3 – 4 drops)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
- Sprinkle melon 1/2 C tomato juice to soften in small pan
- Place over medium heat and stir until gel is dissolved
- Remove from heat and stir in remaining 1 1/4C juice and seasonings
- Turn into mold and chill until firm
