Cabinet Doors as a Project Feature!

If you are anything like me, you spy an interesting element on marketplace and see how you can use use it! I’ve done this a number of time with cabinet doors! Here are some of my favorites!

Linen Closet

This door was from a salvaged bookcase. I used it as the basis for a linen closet. I built shelves on the inside and the face frame was built around this door to fill the opening. The doors on the bottom were built from the shelves of this same bookcase. I just love it!

Free Little Library

This stained glass door was a labor of love for a good friend of mine who loves to read. The door was salvaged from a kitchen that was demoed. I found the perfect project to use this on! This Free Little Library is sitting in front of a cottage in Michigan!

Play Kitchen

More salvaged kitchen cabinets fashioned into a child’s play kitchen! I always say, it’s amazing what a coat of paint will do to freshen things up! This project was soooo fun to do!

Closet Storage

This door was salvaged from a TV console at an estate sale and used to build closet storage. (Yes, I just bought the doors!) The wood tone of the door really warmed up the closet! In this case, the cabinet was also build around the size of the door and the space.

When you are out at estate sales this weekend, keep your eyes peeled for fabulous doors!
